Jon August is dead.

I originally stumbled across "God, Time, Perception & Sexy Androids" when looking for something different than the Epic novels I was getting board with. For the price I figured it was worth a gamble. I completely enjoyed all of the stories and their creative approach on everything. This left me wanting to read more of Jerry's creations so it was real easy for me to purchase this book. From page one on I found myself not wanting to put it down. The story line was original, enjoyable, and just simple fun guy humor which I completely appreciate. If you're looking for an enjoyable break from reality, grab a beer, sit back, read this book, and see where it takes you. Keep writing Jerry and I'll keep reading.Product details

Jerry J. Davis is known for pushing the envelope of speculative fiction into weird and wonderful territories, and his second book is no exception. ELEVEN DAYS ON EARTH has a deceptively simple premise -- there's no beer in the afterlife, so a recently deceased man comes back in search of a brew. Davis takes this concept and makes it delightfully warped by slinging Jon between two competing goddesses and setting him on a quest for the Holy Beer. This is a great read for specfic and beer fans alike!
A page-turner with plenty of twists, written with a deeply quirky sense of humor and fantasy, and aversion of things pedestrian. Instead of trying to see what the author has in store around the next corner, you start to question whether there's even a corner... Lot of fun.
